Season Overview

A New Season Begins

A new season is coming to Guild of Guardians, bringing a fresh set of events, competitions, and rewards to chase across Arena, PvE, guild play, and Valor.

From 25 February to 25 March, players will be able to take part in a full month of seasonal content, including leaderboard events, special challenges, and new progression opportunities for Guardians you already own.

This season features:

  • Competitive events with exclusive rewards

  • New ways to progress and upgrade existing Guardians

  • Arena and PvE challenges running throughout the season

  • A new Valor season for high-level players

  • A guild-focused Arena competition with unique titles

Whether you’re pushing for the top of the leaderboards, playing alongside your guild, or steadily building your roster over time, there will be multiple events running throughout the season to jump into.

Below, we’ll walk through the key additions and events coming this season, starting with a new item that opens up a powerful progression path for Epic Guardians.

Legendary Potion of Awakening

A New Path to Legendary Progression

This season introduces a brand-new item to Guild of Guardians: the Legendary Potion of Awakening.

For the first time, players will be able to use a seasonal item to upgrade an Epic Guardian into a Legendary Guardian, permanently unlocking a higher progression ceiling and access to Legendary-level growth.

Legendary Potions of Awakening can be used on any Epic Guardians that have an upgradable rarity to it.

The Legendary Potion of Awakening is designed to be extremely rare and highly contested. It won’t be something every player can obtain, and earning one will require strong performance in select competitive content throughout the season.

If you have been looking for a way to take your epic Guardians even further, this item opens up a powerful new progression path — one that rewards long-term commitment and high-level play.

In the next section, we’ll take a closer look at the first Guardian eligible for this upgrade and what changes when they reach Legendary rarity.

Rarity Upgrade for Gwynn

Unlocking Gwynn’s Legendary Potential

With the introduction of the Legendary Potion of Awakening, Gwynn becomes the first Guardian who can be upgraded from Epic to Legendary.

Upgrading Gwynn permanently unlocks a new tier of progression, granting her access to Legendary growth, ascension, and an additional Legendary-only skill that expands her impact in battle.

At Legendary rarity, Gwynn gains Frost Curse, a powerful new ability that triggers after she pulls enemies toward her. Gwynn slams the ground, unleashing a wave of frost that strikes nearby enemies and afflicts them with a chilling curse that prevents them from recovering health for a short time. This new skill gives Legendary Gwynn a stronger presence against enemies that rely on sustain, while reinforcing her role as a frontline disruptor.

Once upgraded, Legendary Gwynn is treated as a distinct version of the Guardian. To keep team composition consistent:

  • Epic and Legendary versions of Gwynn cannot be used together

This upgrade path allows players who have already maxed out Gwynn to continue building on her usability, unlocking new gameplay possibilities without replacing an existing Guardian.

Rarity Growth Rate Unification

A New Foundation for Guardian Progression

Alongside the new Legendary upgrade path, this season introduces a broader update to how Guardian progression works across all rarities.

Previously, Guardians of different rarities started with different growth values. With this update, Rare, Epic, and Legendary Guardians now share the same base growth curve, creating a more consistent progression foundation across the roster.

Rarity still matters. Higher-rarity Guardians continue to stand apart through:

  • Additional skills

  • A longer progression path

  • Greater long-term upgrade potential

This change means that your Guardians remain meaningful as they grow. Guardians of different rarities will now scale in a more consistent way, while Legendary Guardians retain their advantage through deeper progression rather than front-loaded stats.

With this foundation in place, the next question becomes how players can compete for the season’s most valuable rewards — which we’ll cover in the sections ahead.

How to Obtain the Legendary Potion This Season

Where to Compete for the Season’s Rarest Reward

The Legendary Potion of Awakening is only available during this season and can be earned through select competitive events. It is not part of standard progression and cannot be obtained through regular gameplay alone.

Players looking to earn a Legendary Potion will need to compete in leaderboard-based events, where top performance is rewarded.

Where the Legendary Potion Is Available

During the season, the Legendary Potion of Awakening appears as a top-tier reward in:

  • Call of Gwynn
  • Displacement Special Event
  • 5 v 5 Arena

Each of these events runs for a limited time and rewards only the highest-performing players.

What to Expect

  • The Legendary Potion is extremely limited

  • Players will need strong teams, preparation, and consistent results to compete for it

If upgrading a Guardian to Legendary is your goal this season, these competitive events are where that journey begins.

Up next, we’ll take a closer look at the first of these events — Call of Gwynn, an Arena-focused competition featuring one of the season’s most important Guardians.

Call of Gwynn

A Competitive Arena Event Featuring Gwynn

Call of Gwynn kicks off early in the season as a competitive, leaderboard-based event focused on Arena combat.

Running from 21 January to 4 February, this event challenges players to compete across Arena modes while featuring Gwynn as the central Guardian. Matches played during the event contribute toward leaderboard placement, with performance across battles determining how far you climb.

Event highlights include:

  • Arena-focused competition, including team-based formats

  • Gwynn featured prominently throughout the event

  • Leaderboard rankings based on overall performance

  • The Legendary Potion of Awakening available as a top-tier reward

Next, we’ll take a look at a very different kind of challenge — a PvE-focused event that offers another path to some of the season’s most sought-after rewards.

Displacement Special Event

Roster

Build your team and earn points by defeating enemies and rooms in the event. Top player will earn the highly coveted Legendary Potion of Awakening.

Up next, we’ll look at another leaderboard event that expands the competition across multiple game modes with Call of Jadey.

Call of Jadey

Running from 11 March to 25 March, this event rewards players for using Jadey and performing consistently across different types of content, rather than focusing on a single mode.

How the Event Works

During Call of Jadey, players earn leaderboard placement by completing battles with Jadey across supported modes, including:

  • Arena

  • 15v15 Arena

  • PvE modes

Performance across these modes contributes to overall event ranking, encouraging players to bring Jadey into a wide range of fights throughout the event period.

Rewards

Terra Special Event

The Terra Special Event takes place midway through the season, offering a PvE-focused competitive event for players looking to test their teams outside of Arena play.

Running from 11 March to 18 March, this event challenges players to progress through a series of battles using Terra Guardians.

Guardian Balance Updates

Ability Updates You’ll Feel in Combat

Alongside new events and progression systems, this season includes ability updates for several Guardians. These changes focus on how abilities behave in combat, making key skills clearer, more reliable, and more impactful to use across different modes.

Gwynn

Gwynn’s core abilities have been updated to strengthen her role as a frontline disruptor. Her water-based attacks now have a more pronounced impact when they connect, making it easier for her to pull enemies out of position and interrupt opposing teams during fights. These updates reinforce Gwynn’s ability to control space and create openings for allies.

Jadey

Jadey receives a series of updates that enhance her control-oriented playstyle. Her abilities now place greater emphasis on sustained pressure, allowing her to apply lingering effects that continue to affect enemies over time. Crowd control effects tied to her kit are more dependable, and enemies caught within her abilities are more heavily disrupted, especially during longer engagements.

Overall, these changes make Jadey more consistent at locking down areas of the battlefield and wearing down opponents who rely on positioning and recovery.

Aurant

Aurant’s abilities have been updated to better handle defensive enemies. His skills are now more effective at breaking through shields and applying disruptive effects, allowing him to challenge heavily protected targets more reliably during combat.

Juno

Juno’s updates focus on sharpening her offensive presence. Her abilities now better reward aggressive timing and successful engagements, making her more effective in fast-paced fights where quick bursts of damage and momentum matter.

These updates are designed to be felt immediately in combat, encouraging players to experiment with team compositions and revisit Guardians that have received changes as the season progresses.

Jadey New Skin

How to Unlock the Jadey Liuli Skin

This season introduces a new cosmetic skin for Jadey, giving players a fresh visual option for one of the season’s featured Guardians.

The Jadey Liuli skin is a cosmetic-only reward and does not change Jadey’s abilities or gameplay in any way. It is designed purely for visual customisation.

How to Acquire the Jadey Liuli Skin

Players can obtain the Jadey Liuli skin through seasonal progression rewards during the season. The skin is included as part of the Season Pass reward track, making it available to players who progress through the pass during the season.

Once unlocked, the skin can be applied to Jadey from the Guardian customisation interface, allowing players to switch between available appearances at any time outside of combat.

This skin is tied specifically to the current season, making it a limited-time cosmetic for players who want to collect exclusive Guardian appearances as they progress through seasonal content.

Guild Arena Supremacy

Compete With Your Guild for Exclusive Titles

Guild Arena Supremacy is a season-limited competitive event designed around guild-based Arena play, giving a chance to compete together for exclusive recognition.

Running from 18 March to 25 March, this event ranks guilds against one another based on their performance in Arena battles during the event window.

How the Event Works

During Guild Arena Supremacy, guilds are grouped into different competitive brackets based on their guild tier:

  • Mythic

  • Legend

  • Warrior

  • Adventurer

Each bracket has its own leaderboard, allowing guilds to compete against others of a similar tier rather than across the entire player base.

Guild members contribute to their guild’s overall performance by participating in Arena battles throughout the event. The combined results determine leaderboard placement within each bracket.

Rewards

At the end of the event:

  • The top-performing guild in each bracket earns a custom guild title, awarded to all eligible members of that guild. The GOG team will reach out to winning Guilds.
  • Additional rewards are granted to top contributors within each winning guild

These titles are exclusive to Guild Arena Supremacy and are designed to showcase a guild’s achievement during the season.

Valor Season 7

Valor Season 7 runs alongside the seasonal events, offering a long-term progression track for players who want an additional endgame challenge.

Valor Season 7 runs from 25 February to 24 March.

Who Can Participate

Valor is available to players who meet the season’s entry requirements:

  • Reach Resonance Crystal Level 220

  • Reach Commander Level 100

Once these requirements are met, Valor progression is unlocked and remains active for the duration of the season.

Rewards

Valor Season 7 includes a set of exclusive rewards tied to progression milestones, including:

  • Seasonal titles

  • Portrait frames

  • Contracts and other high-end progression rewards
