Big news, in partnership with Guild Guardians Limited, we've crafted a specially designed portal to make it easy to migrate your $GOG Tokens to Immutable zkEVM!

Following our recent announcement for the Immutable zkEVM migration, this is your go-to-guide for a stress-free migration, complete with a short video tutorial. We realize things can get very confusing, very quickly in the world of web3. That’s why we decided to create our own, just for our GOG community.

First things first: ALWAYS use the official Guild of Guardians website, at https://guildofguardians.com/ to access the Token Migration Portal. Keep in mind that you won’t find the Migration Portal URL directly on our social media channels or emails from us so stay safe and avoid clicking suspicious links.

A Quick Overview: 

Migrating $GOG tokens: Follow our simple 4-step process on our Migration Portal and refer to the steps below or watch the video tutorial for a smooth migration.

What’s in it for you: To get the most out of your $GOG tokens, you'll need to migrate them for full utility and for future staking programs as stated in our recent Whitepaper update. 

‍

What the zkEVM Migration is about: We’re moving to Immutable zkEVM for enhanced gameplay, advanced tokenomics and sponsoring in-game gas fees for all Immutable Passport users. That is why your GOG assets, both NFTs and $GOG tokens are encouraged to migrate onto Immutable zkEVM. Read our recent announcement covering Migration 101.

Migration Made Easy: In 4 simple steps

Step 1: Connect Your Wallet
Head to the portal and link your existing MetaMask wallet containing your $GOG tokens that are currently on Immutable X.

Step 2: Withdraw from Immutable X

Enter the amount of $GOG tokens that you wish to withdraw from Immutable X

 Please keep in mind after initiating the withdrawal, it may take up to 24 hours to prepare the withdrawal of your tokens to Ethereum Layer 1.

Step 3: Complete the Withdrawal to Ethereum Layer 1

After your wait is over… Finalize the withdrawal to transfer your tokens onto Ethereum Layer 1.

This step might take up to 20 minutes, depending on the Ethereum network's current volume and associated gas fees.

Step 4: Move to Immutable zkEVM

With your tokens now on Ethereum Layer 1, deposit them onto Immutable's zkEVM through the Migration Portal.

Don’t Miss Out on Rewards: 

Guild of Guardians, alongside Guild Guardians Ltd, have created a rewards program as a way to give players a token of our appreciation. This initiative is our way of expressing gratitude for your continued support and commitment to active participation in the GOG community.

If you maintain a balance of more than 50 $GOG tokens on Immutable X as of 10AM AEDT on February 9, 2024, and keep your $GOG token balance on Immutable zkEVM equal to or greater than this amount on March 28, one month after our token migration portal launches on February 28, you will receive an extra 50 $GOG tokens for each wallet, applicable for up to 10 wallets.
