Season 9 — What's Coming
Two years. Two years of Commanders, Guardians, and Elderym — and Season 9 arrives wearing that milestone proudly. The Proving Grounds is a tournament in spirit, but the 2nd Anniversary is the beating heart of this season: recognition for everyone who has been here, a new Guardian built for every squad, and a Morax who has finally reached his ceiling.
Here is everything coming when Season 9 opens on 6 May.
Constantine — Cleric of Solas
Constantine will be joining the Summon Stone banner from 6 May to 3 June as a brand-new Legendary Support Guardian. His strength is singular and genuine — he is a healer who excels at keeping your squad alive, and he does it consistently. For squads that have been running without a dedicated healer, Constantine fills that role with conviction.
| Skill | What It Does | Exclusive Equipment |
|---|---|---|
| Warm Aura of Sun (Ultimate) | Passively heals nearby allies every second. Activate to strip crowd control from all allies in the aura and boost their attack speed. | Aura range increased. |
| Aura of Vitality | Passively increases healing received by all allies. | Constantine becomes permanently immune to effects that reduce healing. |
| Quick Recovery | Heals the lowest-HP ally and applies a short damage reduction effect. | Can heal up to two targets simultaneously. |
| Light of Solas | Passively stores Blessing stacks. When an ally takes lethal damage, a Blessing triggers — restoring a large portion of their health and granting Holy Ward: a brief window of full immunity while they recover. | Starts combat with an extra Blessing stack. |
Constantine's abilities. Skill numbers are indicative; final values apply on live.
As a Core 1 Legendary, Constantine will ascend alongside the rest of your roster without requiring Gen 1 materials.
Morax — Legendary Awakening
Morax is already in many of your squads. Season 9 will give him a ceiling to grow into. Morax will awaken to Legendary, strengthening three existing skills and unlocking a fourth ability available exclusively at Legendary rarity.
| Skill | Existing? | What It Does at Legendary | Exclusive Equipment |
|---|---|---|---|
| Field of Flames | Existing | Deals Magic Damage to all enemies in an area four times, applying Burn. Burned enemies take sustained Magic Damage over time. Enemies inside the field cannot have effects dispelled for 5 seconds. | Burned enemies have their Accuracy reduced. |
| Unstoppable | Existing | Leaps into the densest enemy cluster, dealing Magic Damage and Stunning nearby enemies. Morax becomes Invincible and immune to control effects while the skill is active. | Also generates a shield based on Morax's max HP. |
| Volcanic Shield | Existing | Creates a Volcanic Shield at the start of combat, granting significant Damage Reduction for several seconds. | Casting the ultimate also regenerates the Volcanic Shield. |
| Burn Brighter | New at Legendary | Morax ignites with a brighter flame. Nearby enemies have their Accuracy and Magic Power reduced, and take sustained Physical Damage each second for 6 seconds. | Affected enemies also have their Attack reduced. |
Morax's skill set at Legendary. Burn Brighter unlocks at Legendary rarity only.
