Ashwyn grew up in Monument under the shadow of the Imperials. He always struggled to get by and resented their power, so when he was old enough to travel alone he left the city and never looked back. Eventually he chose to settle in the Deadlands where he joined the Thieves Guild, and when able relocated his remaining family from Monument to the swamps.
